// Ian Budd
A self confessed sports fanatic, Ian has had the privilege to work at and for some of the world's leading sporting events and brands. Eagerly anticipating the London 2012 Games, Ian's passion for the Olympic Games was stimulated through working at the Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for top sponsor Visa. Ian also led Visa's PR and media campaign to leverage its sponsorship of the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
In 2008 he won a Hollis Award for Best Use of PR in a Sponsorship Campaign for devising the 'Tennis on a Desert Island' stunt helping Sony Ericsson maximise its sponsorship of the WTA Tour. Ian is part of the award winning 'Champions Drink Responsibly' team that raises awareness of the important issue of drink driving with Bacardi in association with Michael Schumacher. Away from sport Ian has been known to enjoy opera, ballet and the odd music festival.
// Philippe Pendaries
Philippe leads the Design, Digital and Brands practice, Burson-Marsteller’s integrated brand communications offering in the UK.
Philippe specialises in developing multi-market, multi-channel communications campaigns that build brands and support product sales. He has counseled clients from a broad range of industries, spanning telecommunications, entertainment, financial services, management consultancy, pharmaceuticals, and FMCG.
His sports sponsorship experiences includes the global management of Sony Ericsson’s association with the FIFA World Cup and the WTA tennis tournament, positioning the 2002 FIFA World Cup as ‘the first internet World Cup’ for Yahoo!, and leveraging PSINet’s involvement in the EURO 2000 football championship.
// Victoria Costello
Victoria possesses five years of sponsorship experience including three and a half years in Burson-Marsteller's Sydney office. In London, she is a member of the Design, Digital and Brands practice where she works on the Sony Ericsson account and their sponsorship of the WTA.
She previously worked at B-M Sydney for three and a half years on a wide range of sponsorship accounts including: LG Electronic’s sponsorship of NRL Rugby League, F1 Racing and The Good Food and Wine Show; Beam Global Australia’s sponsorship of V8 Supercars, NRL Rugby League and Sydney Film Festival 2009 and Tourism New Zealand’s sponsorship of the Good Food and Wine Show Australia.
Victoria holds an LLB Law honors Degree from Sheffield Hallam University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism.
// Oliver Druttman
Oliver joined Burson-Marsteller in August 2008, having spent two years as a journalist at Al Jazeera English television news in London and Doha.
Oliver leads Sony Ericsson’s sponsorship of brand ambassador and tennis star Maria Sharapova and also supports with the company’s sponsorship of the Women’s Tennis Association, recently announcing the renewal of its contract with the WTA.
Oliver organised the media launch of The Tiger Woods Dubai, a luxury resort and golf course designed by the golfer. He has also co-ordinated media relations for players and coaching staff for Warrington Wolves Rugby League team, on behalf of sponsor, Vestas.
// Lizzie Godsill
Lizzie works across a number corporate, consumer and sport related accounts for clients such as Sony Ericsson, HP, SAP and Ricoh. Her work on the Sony Ericsson 2010 FIFA World Cup account and enthusiasm to join the Total Sponsorship team highlights Lizzie’s enjoyment of combining her love of sport with her work.
Before joining Burson-Marsteller Lizzie worked in the media and marketing division at Southend United FC. Lizzie is a keen hockey player, Spurs fan and enjoys sport in every form available.
